For a quick stay, this spot shines. Fantastic staff helped me explore nearby cascades, and the rooftop deck offers stunning views. Rooms are roomy and breakfast hits the spot. Just a few minutes to the Colonial Zone. Note, parking can be tricky but manageable. Great for budget travelers!

The Superior Triple Room was spacious and super clean, just like the photos. Enjoyed a big balcony for chilling out. Breakfast was a nice perk in the morning. The staff also helped us find parking right in front of the place.

My Superior Triple Room was spacious, but the bed was too loud for a good night's sleep.

The outdoor dining area is pretty chill, especially during breakfast when the rooftop view adds a nice touch. I had a chance to sample some local restaurant gems nearby—don’t miss out on the seasonal salads, they were top-notch! Also, the staff’s warm vibes made my solo trip even better.

We got room 401, which was a bit messy. Dust bunnies were playing under the bed, and the bathroom was a bit of a horror show with a few cockroaches. The bed squeaked like an old squeaky toy, and the window just couldn’t keep the noise at bay.

The hotel lacked an elevator, making it inconvenient to navigate the five floors, especially with heavy luggage. Breakfast options included stale bread and old fruit, and hot water was inconsistent throughout the stay, mostly lukewarm. Cleaning seemed to fall short, with dust accumulating on furniture and the bed sheets having a questionable cleanliness, contributing to an uncomfortable environment.

We enjoyed our stay with my grandson in the spacious Superior Triple Room, complete with a sizable balcony. The hotel felt clean and cozy, and the location was perfect for exploring the nearby Colonial Zone—definitely a highlight of our trip!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hotel Merey, particularly its prime location in the Colonial Zone. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and I appreciated the convenience of having Wi-Fi included. The staff were attentive, assisting me with directions and calling taxis as needed.

Room could be a bit small.
